Makena partners with Coca-Cola

It is with the greatest excitement today that we announce our partnership with the world’s biggest brand, Coca-Cola. They looked far and wide to find the best new home for their Coke Studios community, and they chose There! We couldn’t be more thrilled.

What does this mean for you? Well, first of all, there will soon be a new, custom-built island with a Coca-Cola theme that is available for everyone to explore. The island includes CC Metro, which will have cool locations like a skate park and an in-world theater, and more fun additions are planned for the future. The whole area will be an amazing new addition to There and we can’t wait for you to check it out. In addition, Coca-Cola will bring access to exciting events like American Idol for the whole community to enjoy. We also believe this is a great opportunity for everyone. Members coming from Coca-cola websites including mycoke.com get a brand new 3D home to explore and hang out in, and There members will have new places to explore and new friendships to be made. So if you're an event host, there will be more people to invite to your events, and neighborhood owners will have a whole new set of prospective tenants. But no matter what your role in There, it's a whole new group of friends to meet and greet. CC Metro will continue to be featured on mycoke.com, which means we can look forward to more new arrivals, even after the initial migration is complete. Very exciting! One thing to note: CC Metro will be open and available to all members. You will be able to use the regular There client to access all of the new Coke-themed areas in There.
