Are You Seeing Stars?

We have added something new to our nametags! You might have noticed that many of the There employees are now sporting the There logo alongside their names. But you might also be seeing stars. The gold stars belong to our stellar team of volunteer welcomers, the Island Guides. Hopefully, the icons will assist new members in identifying sources of help and information.

Not all Guides have opted-in to have a star by their names. Some just prefer to be identified by an Island Guide shirt, which can be changed when they wish to be in world for their own enjoyment. How does one become an Island Guide? Read on to find out.

Interested members can learn more in the Island Guide Applicants club forum. The requirements for becoming an Island Guide include the following: Must have been a premium member for at least one month. Have an avid skill level in both newbie helper and event host. Have a clean moderation record. Have a working email address. Qualities to be of assistance to new members including patience, knowledge of There platform, and friendliness. Qualities to be part of a team including cooperation and the ability to follow guidelines and undergo orientation. Interest and willingness to support There partners, programs, and projects. Members of Island Guide Applicants who meet these requirements will be invited to the next orientation sessions.
