Club of the Week: French Language Clubs

French speakers and those who welcome them to There have long thought of Rucsuc as a source to turn to when translation is required.  Her obliging nature and real world experience as a translator make Rucsuc a natural choice when it comes to explaining things to those struggling with the French or Romanian languages.

When she found the opportunity to move into a neighborhood, she and her hood partner MercyMn built a school and started two clubs with just that purpose in mind. The French Language Club is open to everyone who wants to learn or speak basic French.  Ici on Parle en Francais is for native French speakers.  The only rules are to be polite and respectful of others.

The RucMercy School lot is located in Harry's Secret Hollow neighborhood. One can find books there with translations from English to French to instruct in basic grammar and vocabulary.  The school has no events running currently, but big projects are planned for the future.  Rucsuc and MercyMn want to extend the offerings of school classes to languages other than English and French. They would also like to host some multi-cultural events in which people from various nationalities can gather to share information about their own country, culture, and customs.
