Club of the Week: Grupo I_Planet

You may have seen I_Planet and his friends welcoming new members who speak Spanish or Portuguese to There. I_Planet has been passing on computer tips to Spanish speakers for many years now. He is an engineer and teacher in the real world, so it was a natural progression for him to use the Internet and radio as teaching tools for others who wanted to learn more about computers and the World Wide Web.

His club of over 3000 members represents many countries including Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Honduras, Guatemala, and Spain. Grupo_I_Planet is a gathering place for his students and friends from There and his other favorite online places. They gather every Saturday night for a variety of events highlighting the many ways to have fun in There. Some of the group have also started mentoring the Spanish speakers who need help getting around. The teaching group, which includes Laylita, Pedrophm, Maripositalinda, Gordiatabella65, Mangoconazucar, SuperFlorecita, and Cheliarg, can be identified by their red and blue I_Planet teacher shirts. The rest of the members can be spotted by their blue and green shirts.
