The World of There got its start as a mutual help blog for French-speaking Thereians. Founded by JacquesDarcy, Breizh, Dref, and Emylenium, the group has grown and now has dozens of members and a presence in multiple locations on the Internet. |

The group has meetings each Tuesday evening at 22:00 Paris time (that's 1pm Pacific and 4pm Eastern). The members enjoy gathering for fun and conversation, and they usually participate in one of a number of competitions. The activity might be Spades to relax, buggy racing for a thrill, or paintballing to let off steam. In addition to the Tuesday meetings, the group is preparing for some exciting Halloween and Christmas events. They also plan to have their second real-life gathering in Paris on November 21st. Anyone who speaks or enjoys French is welcome to join. The only rules are to remain polite and friendly. A World of There t-shirt is available now, and soon there will be a club buggy painted in the colors of France. The earnings collected from sales of these items go toward the clubhouse rental and event expenses.
