| What would Halloween be without costumes and masks? Could we enjoy the There Games as much without team uniforms? Isn't it more fun with your friends when you can hang out in cool clubs, share gifts of designer clothing, and explore in fanciful vehicles? Fun by Design is a club created to allow experienced members to introduce newer members to the enhancement of fun through designing, shopping, and decorating in There. |
At club meetings, members are informed about basics such as:
- How to buy Therebucks
- How to change views
- How to use a Try-It machine
- How to use the auctions and shop pages to find things
- How to download the designer programs
- How to use the model emotes.
There are tours of places where members have used content developed by other members to create unique environments within There.
The group is led by Greeter_Lee and the Island Guides. In addition, The Developer Group, a group for members to connect and share ideas and techniques, has been very supportive of Fun by Design and has offered the new club a spot in their monthly showcase.
Fun by Design holds meetings each Sunday at 1:30pm Pacific (4:30pm EST) at the Cultural Education Center building in Snow Mountain Resort. Prizes, such as TBux, drinks, and clothing are awarded to new members for mastering the material presented. Plans for the future include having designers attend the meetings to present their creations and share their designing experiences.
