Shivaki, veteran of the buggy circuit, is leading the club and has an exciting new competition planned for the members. |  |
Shivaki is going to host events each Saturday night for lappers. He's starting at Dust Devil, where he has long been a host of buggy events. Later, he might switch zones and use a sampling of terrains from bumpy to flat. He will have scheduled events, but lappers are free to come in before or after to get a time on the board.
Prizes will be awarded, too! Shivaki will collect lap times at 9pm Pacific (Midnight Eastern) each Saturday and award points with 10 points to the best time, 9 for the next best, and so on down to 1 point for the 10th time on the boards. At the end of each month, he will distribute prizes as follows:
10k TBux - To the person with the highest number of points.
5k TBux - Second highest number of points.
5k TBux - Shivaki has a low score award (Laggy Lapper Prize? Low Man on the
Totem Pole Award?) which goes to a racer who has recorded a top ten
time at each of the monthly events, but who ends up with the lowest
total.
5k TBux - Random drawing will be done each month from the list of those who
participated but who didn't win one of the other 3 prizes.
