| Here's great news for buggy racers.
ForSheetzNGigglz is the driving force behind a new racing league
in town, T1-Racing. How does it work? The league runs a six week
season, with events held once per week. |

| Sixteen racers are selected by qualifying in two
trials in which the
top eight racers from each are seeded into a mini-tournament. In the
first round, the sixteen meet in four two-lap races to narrow the field. The remaining eight then meet in the three-lap semi-final
races, narrowing the field from eight to four. The top two racers from
each semi-final advance to the final race. The league standings are determined by the event participation. One point is awarded for qualifying and participating in the heat races. Another point is awarded to those who advance to the semi-finals. Finalists receive an additional 1 point for 4th place, 2 for 3rd, 3 for 2nd, and 4 points for 1st place. The maximum number of points per week is 7 with 42 possible in the entire season. In addition to points, there are also TBux and buggy prizes, including a special buggy designed for this league. This season's events will be held on Saturdays from March 7th through April 11th at various buggy zones in There. Anyone may participate. For invitations, join T1-Racing. | BZB is lead by Frojo2 and Helhound, a couple of
There racing hot shots who got their foundation in vMTV. They are more
than ready, willing, and able to welcome new members into
the fold and bring them up to speed on where to get their wheels hot in
There. Each Wednesday and Thursday, the club has racing events at Golden Sands track. The first half of the event is devoted to lapping and answering questions on racing events and how to build up speed. The last half of the event is spent in rated races with some TBux prizes. At the end of this month, a buggy will be awarded to one club member selected by random drawing. Other prizes and events are in the works to provide excitement as the club grows. Everyone who knows VMCL1998 knows her
creativity, diligence, and enthusiasm. These qualities have made
her a leader in all aspects of her involvement in There, especially in
the Island Guides program and in her leadership of Right Foot Questing. VMCL was in the very first class of Island
Guides in February 2007. |
| Each month since then, she has usually participated at a level that is above and beyond the expected, and on several
occasions she has performed at the All-Star level. These designations
are benchmarks set for the guides that determine how quickly they
advance up the ranks. She is the first member to reach
the status of Perpetual Island Guide. This makes her an Island Guide for life! Will this title make much difference for VMCL? It's doubtful. After two years of service with the Guides program, she is a fixture, and we expect that she will continue her devoted service to There and our new members. If her star shines just a little brighter, it will be due to all the warm wishes and thanks that the Guides and Greeters send in congratulating VMCL1998 on her accomplishment. |
