Island Guides from around the World

Taking a trip around the world?  No matter where you go, you just might find one of our Island Guides. The Guides are volunteers dedicated to helping new members get started in There. As we come to the end of the first-ever There World Fair, it seemed fitting to highlight a group that is every bit as diverse as the population of There itself.

The United States is well represented from coast to coast, and we also have Guides from Canada, Mexico, and South America.  Europeans? You bet! Scotland, Germany, The Netherlands, England, France, Romania, Spain, and Poland are represented within the ranks, just to name a few. Traveling even further, we can greet you from Israel, India, Egypt, Mauritania, South Africa, and Malta. Still in a mood to explore? How about Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines? The Island Guide team is always shifting, but from time to time we also have Guides from China, Singapore, Japan, Turkey, well ... just about everywhere.

Have a we20 Meeting in There

Is there an issue you care about and would like to help find a solution? we20 asks people to think about a local, national or global challenge that is close to their hearts and to make a plan to overcome it.

The idea for this effort was inspired by the upcoming G20 summit, a meeting of 20 world leaders who are tasked with addressing the problems of our world's economies and mapping out the future. They meet in London on April 2nd. Twenty people together making plans that will affect the future. we20 is your opportunity to have your own G20 meeting. You might have ideas to change your neighborhood or ideas to change the world. Anyone can get involved. The goal is for at least 10,000 meetings to happen internationally by the end of April, so now is the time to get started. If you are interested, we have set aside a meeting space in There that you are welcome to use for this purpose. Want to learn more? Pitch Your Developer Item Ideas to Coca-Cola

The Coca-Cola Company has invited the developer community of There.com to propose or "pitch" designs for Coke-branded virtual items. So if you've been wishing you could create Coke items, here's your chance!

The theme for this pitch event is Home Decor. This means that furniture, decorations, patio pieces, and other home improvement items are all eligible for consideration. If you would like to participate, follow the link below for the guidelines.

There's Annual Leprechaun Hunt

We've been invaded by the little green men once again! It's time for the annual There Leprechaun Hunt. Start in the Adventure Quest Club for your first clues to where the little guys are hiding.

There are 30 in all, and they won't give you more clues, unless you tell them their names.  Fortunately for you, more and more clues are provided along the way. Everyone who finds all 30 leprechauns will be given one to take home and they will also be entered into a drawing for 3 prizes of 5k TBux each!  If the little imps hide too well for you, you can still have a chance at a prize for finding 20 of them. Those who find at least 20 will be entered into a raffle for 3 prizes of 2500 TBux each. Five more lucky winners from the drawing will win a leprechaun of their own for the Luck o' the Irish all throughout the year.
