Cassi first saw the buggy basketball hoop created by BHRocky at the Makena anniversary party last April, and that got the wheels in her brain turning. She tried experimenting with various types of games and finally settled on one that combined the basketball hoop with arcaded FunZones. At these events there are five lap races with a track which incorporates the basketball hoop at one of the gates. Racers have to make five baskets before they can finish the race.
You can win prizes, too. RainbowSky donates 5000T in prizes each week, and Cassitiny is happy to take other types of prize donations. There are three aspects to winning the Therebucks: achieve the fastest lap, win the five-bucket race, or beat previous track records. If no one beats the current record, the 1000T is set aside for that rolls over to the next event.
Wondering if there is anything fun coming up soon? Cassitiny hopes to expand to include two hoops in her tracks. She's planning a big prize event for regulars in the future, too. And don't forget There Games! Cassi plans to have some buggy basketball events there as well.
Each week, usually on Fridays, Cassitiny hosts an event at Rainbow Sky Raceway. (Note: Due to scheduling conflicts over the next few weeks, it will be held on Thursdays instead.) Who can join? Anyone! Rules? Have fun and don't spam the club with invitations. Your best bet at getting an invitation is to join the Buggy Basketballers club.
