Announcing the Bug Buster Challenge Winners

A few weeks ago, we challenged you to become part of the elite Bug Buster Brigade. We needed help testing the Green Client (a new version of There) and asked you to let us know about bugs you found. Now it's time to honor the winners of the Bug Buster Challenge! Click below for contest results.

Our hard-working Bug Busters really got down to business and posted lots and lots of bugs. They found so many excellent bugs, it was really hard for the staff judges to decide which were the best. We posted a list of the first 6 winners when we kicked off the challenge. Now without further ado, here are the additional 44 winning bugs, along with the avatar name of the Bug Hunter who provided the best, most helpful report for each one. jerseySteve87 found a nice crash ceashure identified better ways of reproducing the non-exit soybean brought up some weirdness in the way IMs transfer speaking Camel figured out that Qt windows weren't being rendered while teleporting crazymattrocks found a bug where the action bar was sticking in action mode sexymankev found a crash with the new IM windows dad_A_MONK figured out that you can't give or lend, a dialog was missing NurseJay found that if a buddy was in the "nearby" folder they wouldn't show up in "buddies" PcMan catalogued various menu/settings panel differences X_xBlackOutx_X found a bug where ThereCam wasn't hiding the menus before taking the shot PcMan found a strange behavior in Organizer danielboy11 found a strange bug where things from My Gear weren't always what you wanted jerseySteve87 found some weird behavior with browser windows doopie discovered that sad faces in the IM window make you walk backward (!) marisa9 found other things you can type into the IM window to make you move Aristoteles got his organizer stuck by resizing it above the top of the client window ForSheetzNGigglz found that the IM selection dialog had multiple copies of the same buddy jerseySteve87 provided much help with Mistyy2290's issue danielboy11 found some ghosting on resizing IM windows ForSheetzNGigglz pointed out that the IM select dialog didn't have any status icons antaios discovered that leaving a closed folder in organizer will cause it to open danielboy11 found that when opening or closing the communicator the main menu bar flashes antaios found some strange behavior when using the nudge tool antaios pointed out that right click also drags Qt windows Orielle found that subfolders weren't showing in IM select dialogs antaios discovered a nasty bug where being in action mode and clicking the left mouse button causes you to get a little stuck in action mode antaios found that individual IMs had a much smaller limit than they used to Jatha found that you can try to give the same item to multiple people at once danielboy11 found that coupes had issues when they're lent out dad_A_MONK found an issue with the movement tag in organizer ayla_1 found an issue where minimizing IM windows wouldn't fully take away your focus on them MiseryG0ddess found a really strange bug: if you press your keyboard 'mute' button you'll put away your paintgun! ayla_1 pointed out that an externally minimized IM window doesn't blink when you get a new message _RICKY found a crash exiting a paintball zone danielboy11 found a client focus issue Innie pointed out that background voice wasn't sticking _Shattered found a visual issue, we'll have to keep an eye on it Orielle found some strangeness when moving folders in organizer jerseySteve87 did some more detective work for Mistyy2290's problem Orielle noted that organizer isn't updating when buddies log off, even if you had organizer closed Raychall found the organizer doesn't stay where you put it when dragging items around Ant1977 provided further organizer issue details danzibar sent in an interesting crashdump westcoastgirl laid out the case for removing focus from minimized IM windows Each top bug was worth a whopping 18,000T reward for the Bug Buster who reported it.
