MissMEM: What is your
favorite thing about Halloween, including your favorite thing about
Halloween in There?
xtrasexy: There are so
many neat things about Halloween! Costumes are so much fun. It is
always great to see how excited the children are and how the adults
seem rejuvenated. Candy, pumpkin patches, parties and haunted houses
are high up on my favorite list, too! In There, I look forward to the
costume parties!
MissMEM: What was your
inspiration for your haunted home?
xtrasexy: I love the
spookiness of a haunted ship. This one has a cursed pirate helmsman, a
rat infestation and plenty of tricks and treats! It also is sailing
around Rumrunner’s Isle so it is never in the same place twice! You can
search for Redrum’s Revenge in a fog bank off the coast or you can teleport
straight into the wickedness.
MissMEM: How long
did it take you to build this haunted house?
xtrasexy: It was built
over the course of two fun days.
MissMEM: Is this
your first haunted house or have you built any others? If you
have, what, if anything, makes this haunted house different?
xtrasexy: This is my
first haunted build but not my last because I am really enjoying the
reactions of visitors to the tricky ghouls and gory monstrosities. This
haunted house is a ship! The ghouls here make up an evil crew!
MissMEM: Do you have a
favorite place in your haunted house? If so, where and why?
xtrasexy: Below deck in
the backroom where the witch is putting a spell on the bubbling
concoction to make the “charm firm and good”.
MissMEM: Do you enjoy
decorating and do you do it often?
xtrasexy: I enjoy
building but do not often have a chance to decorate just for a holiday
so this was exceptionally fun!
MissMEM: What words of
wisdom would you offer to new members who are looking to build a
haunted house of their own?
xtrasexy: Like with any
other build, make what you yourself enjoy. Don’t go for evil if you
like cute ghost. Just build what makes you happy. Other people will
enjoy your vision.
MissMEM: What are some
of your favorite items in your haunted house?
xtrasexy: The mannequins
that are involved are all great additions, the RFE ripped black ship
sails where a welcome addition to this build, there is a cat that is
about to munch on a fat rat that is really neat, but from bow to stern,
I could not have gotten the effect I really wanted if it where not for
the many MaxSMoke777 items. The eerie combination of those items is
what makes the build unique and worth seeing.
MissMEM: Will you be
hosting events or parties at this haunted house? If so, what sort of
gatherings are they? Anything coming up you'd like to invite the
general public to?
xtrasexy: Anyone is
welcome anytime! There will be events held at the ship during the There
Halloween Events week. One will be a costume party. Redrum’s Revenge
will sink an unsuspecting ship in a fiery battle. All kinds of ghouls
and goblins will be needed to crew the haunted vessel to help rip the
sails off the enemy ship and send her into the cursed black waters.
