Call for Developer Item Donations for the Holiday Charity Drive

Our annual holiday charity drive is underway and this year's recipient is the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR. Last year, several members helped with our fundraising effort by donating specially-created developer items toward the cause.

We were thrilled to receive the support and would like to offer the same opportunity again this year. If you would like to donate a developer item that you have created, to be auctioned by There_Gifts during the holiday charity drive, here are the guidelines: * The item must adhere to the There.com developer submission guidelines and be an original work you have created. * You will need to transfer the item to the There Community staff so that it can be submitted through the There_Gifts avatar and sold in a special auction. All proceeds from the auction sales will go to the UNHCR. You can do this in one of two ways: 1. (Preferred method) Submit the item yourself on Monday, November 30th. After you've done so, send the submission code directly to community@thereinc.com. This can be done any time between the end of daily maintenance and 6 PM Pacific Time on November 30th. To get the code, submit your item through Stylemaker/Previewer, copy the code that appears in the small dialog window, and send it to us.  Do NOT complete the Submit Items web page form (if you do, the item will be assigned to your avatar).  Note: We are asking you to do this on a specific day because the submission codes are only valid for a short time. 2. (Alternate method) Send a screenshot of the item and the appropriate files, along with detailed instructions about how to submit them, to community@thereinc.com. The item will then be submitted through the There_Gifts avatar. You can do this method any time, but all materials must be received by no later than Monday, November 30th.
