Last month we were very excited to introduce a whole new look for There.com. One of the coolest things about the makeover is that it gave us a chance to feature images from our very own Shutterbugs club and show off their terrific work. |
| Now we're asking our developers to help us show potential new members the huge variety of items that can be created through There's developer program. This is a great opportunity for you to show off your fantastic designs and promote your own brand at the same time! We're looking for fresh pictures and videos to help us illustrate many types of items, such as: * Women's Clothing (full outfit or highlight of a featured item) * Men's Clothing (full outfit or highlight of a featured item) * Exterior * Flora * Props * Interior Furniture * Full Interior * All vehicle types * Other (anything not covered by the above categories) What do I get if my screenshot or video is selected for use on the web site? If your screenshot is chosen for use on There.com, you will receive 5,000T. Selected videos will receive 15,000T. How do I submit a screenshot?
All screenshots can be submitted by either emailing community@thereinc.com or by simply posting them to the There_Shutterbugs Flickr group with the tag "devphotochallenge". To post them to Flickr, create a Flickr account, join our Shutterbugs group on Flickr, and post them to the group's pool.
Images should be 320px x 240px - 300 dpi. They should be clean with no outlines please!
If you're sending screenshots in via email, be sure to include your avatar name.
If you're posting them to the Flickr pool, and your Flickr name is different from your There avatar name, you should include your avatar name somewhere in the photo's description. That way we'll know who to reward if it's chosen!
Remember, on Flickr, each image must be tagged with "devphotochallenge" so we can easily find the entries.
How do I submit a video?
Once you have created your video for this challenge, all you have to do is host it on your favorite video-sharing site (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) and then send us the link at community@thereinc.com. If you are Aral's friend on Facebook, you can also share the link with us there. We'll take a look and if we want to use your video on There.com, we will contact you about sending us the movie file.
Your video must meet the following guidelines:
1. 320 x 420 resolution
2. Be in .wmv format
3. Must be no longer than 10 SECONDS
4. Not include any sound
When you send us the link to your movie, please be sure to include your avatar name.
Video Tip: Don't forget that you can easily capture video in world (without sound) by using Control - Shift - G. This pops up a window which will allow you to take videos in There. (Be sure to push it again when you are done, otherwise you will still be recording!)
