MissMEM: Is this the only home you own, and if so do you plan on acquiring anymore? Dazee: This is the only home I own, I've lived in others and in other neighborhoods and I've lived in There clubhouses on several islands.
MissMEM: What was your inspiration for decorating your home? Dazee: My inspiration comes from the actual house. CarCus modeled The El Monterrey house beginning of August last year I fell in love with it. The big beautiful windows and large open floor plan gave me lots of room for larger objects and 100 drops allowed me to add little touches and make it homey. I share this house with CarCus and since we live in The Village Marketplace, I tried to decorate using the creations of as many of the vendors that have stores here as I can, including Kortt, Xedos, Ciao Bella and of course CarCus. MissMEM: What's up with the laundry machine!? How do you go about keeping the place tidy? Dazee: LOL Trick question! I don't do laundry - one of the most wonderful things about this There place...no washing dishes, no laundry and when I get tired of the way the house is decorated I click a button and poof...new layout!
MissMEM: Do you have a favorite place in your house? If so, where and why? Dazee: My favorite part of the house is the atrium in the back of the house. It’s covered but lets in light, Allisah designed that great viney covering that makes it a cozy little nook. The trees and the skyline give a nice view, especially when we use the new dawn environment. It makes a pretty sunrise. I spend lots of time out here sitting on the porch swing listening to music and shopping
MissMEM: What words of wisdom would you offer to new members who are looking to find their own home in There? Dazee: The key is finding a place that you love. Don't be hasty, shop around! There are many neighborhoods with different themes and styles, decide if you want a beach house or a more formal style then find a suitable place for it. The sky's the limit!
MissMEM: Do you hold parties/events often at your place? If so, what sort of gatherings are they? Anything coming up you'd like to invite the general public to? Dazee: Most of the entertaining we do at the house is with friends for birthdays and other celebrations like that. We had Mackie visit at Christmas for the Parade of Homes that was great! There are always people visiting The Village Marketplace and some sort of event is usually running. I keep up with the designers here and try to use their newest creations so my decor changes quite a bit.
MissMEM: What are your favorite items in your home? Dazee: There are a couple of pieces I use in almost every single build all built by CarCus at my gentle suggestion, sometimes nagging. There's the mantle clock, the porch swing (which I now have in the tree out back), the dance of love sculpture, the tiled coffee table and the picture of the two of CarCus and me I usually keep either on the mantle or clothes dresser. These are a few of my most favorite things.
MissMEM: And finally, why did you choose this particular Neighborhood? Is there something special about this Neighborhood?
Dazee: I really do love neighborhoods, I lived in Smuggler's Cove and San Dimas for a while. What finally brought us here is we figured out that we spend most of our time standing in or around CarCus' shop or somewhere near by while he's testing new things. Our closest and dearest friends rent shops here, I shop like a mad woman and the clothing stores here keep me entertained while CarCus works. It seemed like the natural place to live so we got with Mr_Rogers and struck a deal. The rest is history! I think we've been here since shortly after the house was created in August and have no thoughts of leaving any time soon. In closing, Dazee added: Thanks again for selecting our home as home of the week. We're delighted that someone suggested you visit our There home in The Village Marketplace. CarCus and I hope you and your readers enjoy your visit and feel free to pop in anytime you're in the neighborhood!
