Club of the Week: love2danceOn2 Social Group

Creativity is the name of the game, and in this case there are many games to choose from.  The specialty of the day is whatever fun and exciting endeavor that is the current invention of  love2danceOn2 and his partner in pandemonium, DragonSun.

The current offering, Mission Quest: Halo Edition, is a good example. It's a role playing paintball quest! How's that for different?  It uses video clues and has the players find quest boxes while in costume. Of course, love2dance and his cohorts are lurking about to paintball the questers. Mission Quest is housed at the Adventure Quest club on Kantana, but love2danceOn2 finds a single zone too limiting for his adventurous spirit.  Many of his activities are designed to help people explore and find fun new places. Plans? You bet! Anything this group can imagine is likely to find its way into There club fun. Club of the Week: Alchemy Spades with Moi

Now that the new deluxe card tables are available, this is a perfect time for Spades lovers to meet and connect with other players. Alchemy Spades with Moi is a great place to start! Get in on the ground floor of this new club and help create the fun.

Led by Moi2, the club already has a good group of core members, but the more the merrier! This cadre of friends takes Spades to a new level while having fun and socializing at the same time. They have grand plans to offer daily events and much more, so this is a great time to get involved and help the club grow. Club of the Week: Thereywood Squares

Ready for fun and games, glitz and glamor? Do you think being a square can be a good thing? If so, you're ready for Thereywood Squares. This club hosts There's own version of the television show each Wednesday night at 6:30 PM Pacific / 9:30 PM Eastern.

This club was started years ago by Jasper_D, who passed it to Gabi23, and now the fun continues under the leadership of Angelius and ForSheetzNGigglz.  Each week 9 members volunteer their time to fill one of the squares on the board. The game host, often Francis_7, asks questions of the squares who provide an answer. Players choose to agree or disagree with the answers, and a correct choice earns them an X or O on the board. Each player is attempting to complete a line as in the game Tic-Tac-Toe.

Are you looking for a cool hangout to get your groove on? If so, you should check out DJMinnie's club, Total Xtreme Radio. The club was founded by supporters of an internet radio station who are eager to share their love of music with as many people as possible.

Club of the Week: Fun By Design

Are you thinking of designing in There? Are you wondering what the possibilities are? You can find some answers with Fun by Design. This group, founded by DollEyes, attempts to bring those new to designing into contact with experienced developers in world.  Home builders, fashion designers, and vehicle artisans have all been part of those sharing their creations at club meetings.

Recently, Mr_Vercetti treated the club members to a display of his works and a fantastic dragon flotilla to top everything off.  The club has events ranging from fashion shows to tours of fantastic neighborhoods. Tips on designing and marketing are often on the agenda as well. Meetings are normally held at the Zona Stage on Sundays at 1 PM Pacific (4 PM Eastern). If you are interested, speak to DollEyes in world, stop by one of the meetings at the Zona Stage, or just join Fun By Design for invitations.

Club of the Week: Robotic Racing

Robotic Racing is a club designed to spin more fun for those who can't detach themselves from their buggies. Interested? Then get ready to rev up every Saturday. The events begin at 11am Pacific (2pm Eastern, 7pm UK) and last for 90 minutes.

Prizes are provided, including Fan T-Shirts and a limited edition buggy. There are even rumors about a secret event coming soon. (Perhaps you can get a clue by looking at the club web site.) The events rotate through various buggy zones, but you can get your invitations and information by joining Robotic_Racing in There. Leader Flamexxx and assistants Watchlight and Malcom_Landgrabb can also provide more information.

Club of the Week: Dancin in the Dungeon

Have you ever tried dancing in a dungeon? Dancin' in the Dungeon is a dance club for those who like to cut loose, have fun and dance the night away! When xx_Marie_xx took quarters in DavyRocket's Stalward Village, naturally she had to have a dungeon. But what was she going to do with it?  Dance, of course!

The Dungeon is the setting for some big monthly events and  xx_Marie_xx with xx_Kiva_xx go all out for their shindigs with a special dance layout and a DJ on site to motivate the festivities.  Recently, Marie celebrated her Scottish roots during her birthday celebration with a Dungeon Birthday Dance.  Let's just say there was a lot of plaid and bagpipes. They have another big bash is planned for early May. Why don't you join in?  The club is always happy to have new members.  The few rules are designed to maximize the use of giggles and minimize interference with the dancing.  No over-sized props.  Chat in the zone megaphone instead of with chat bubbles.  Oh yes, and be nice and have fun! Share Your Photos - Join the There Shutterbugs

Do you like to take pictures and document events? If so, the There Shutterbugs is just the club for you. You can have fun, share your photos, and have a chance to earn some TBux, all at the same time!

It's easy to participate. Just join the club and we'll send out  notices when there's a particular event we'd like you to document. Or, if you're at a cool event in There that you think we should know about, you can take photos and submit those, too. When you've taken your photos, upload the very best ones to our Flickr group. If we use any of your photos in an official capacity (e.g. in the There Fun Times web site, as part of an official promotion, etc.), we'll pay you 5,000T per selected photo.
