There Shutterbugs Contest for Lights, Camera There!

Make your way to the red carpet and take pictures of all the stars this month during our Lights, Camera, There! theme. This is another great opportunity to earn 5000 Therebucks for your event photos, and we're planning to give a bonus of 5000T to our favorite screenshot!

Take photos during the Lights, Camera, There! events and submit your best ones to our Flickr group by Monday, February 1st, and we'll pick our favorite to win. Follow these links to join the There Shutterbugs club and to join our Flickr group. Be sure to tag all your photos with "LightsCameraThere, There.com, 2010" so we can find them easily. Quick tip: If you're posting photos to the Flickr pool, and your Flickr name is different from your There avatar name, you should include your avatar name somewhere in the photo's description.  That way we’ll know who to reward if it's chosen!

Unicrystal Designs University Spring Semester

The following was submitted by Unicrystal, club leader of the UDU: The Unicrystal Designs University is proud to announce the beginning of the Spring semester of classes. Basic Previewer and Basic Stylemaker classes will be taught by renowned designer Unicrystal. The Basic Previewer class will start on Tuesday, January 19th at 5pm Pacific. The Basic Stylemaker class will start on Friday, January 22nd at 5pm Pacific. Any new students who plan to attend should join the UDU Student Union group for recurring class invites.

January Buggy Racing Hotsheet

Buggy drivers are revving up those engines and heating up the winter chill! Lots of cool stuff is going in There for buggy racers, including some brand new competitions and changes in some of the old ones.

Ovni, long-time supporter of those who like to work on lap times, has a new event all his own, Best Lappers 2010! His events will occur at Seaview and Dry Wind tracks. Points are awarded to the best lap times on the daily tracks, and a buggy will be awarded to the best lapper each month. At the end of December 2010, a limited-edition buggy will be awarded to his best lappers of the year. Sign up for events at Dry Wind or Seaview and check out the There Racing forum for more details.

Take the Thereian Feud Survey!

On your marks! Let's start the Thereian Feud! Survey says this event is going to be a blast! Join the hosts of Thereywood Squares for the inaugural running of the Thereian Feud during January's Lights, Camera, There! theme. You won't want to miss this special event.

You can get in on the fun ahead of time by taking this special survey. These questions will be part of the game, and just like on the Family Feud television show, the contestants will try to guess the top answers. Be a part of the survey audience today, and then plan to join the main event on January 28th!

Next beta test coming up on Thursday, January 14

We will be holding a Beta Test on Thursday, January 14, from 3-6pm PST. This week's test will include updates to the Clubs and Events system, an update to all card games, and several fixes to the UI client. We will post the test instructions and the client download link in the Beta section of our forums on Thursday morning.
