The tradition of Trick-or-Treating has been around for centuries, and now we're bringing it to you with a little twist! We've planted 5 creepy cauldrons at some of the spookiest landmarks in There and it's up to you to find them. Each cauldron contains a special item - some are treats and some are tricks.
So put on your best costume and grab some of your ghoulish friends for a little Trick-or-Treating in There. When All Hallows' Eve is over, the cauldrons will disappear.
While you're out and about, why not visit some of the awesomely spooky haunted homes our members have created? In addition to the zones selected for our Haunted Home of the Week feature, here are a few more that shouldn't be missed: ellejae, Unicrystal, SportStar25 and coolangatte. Great job, everyone!
Halloween is a very special time when the fantastic creativity of the There community is in ultra high gear. In the spirit of the season, we challenged our designers to create spook-tacular Halloween costumes. Several adventurous souls stepped up to the challenge.
October is here and Halloween is just around the corner! Thereians everywhere are already picking out costumes and putting the finishing touches on fantastically fiendish haunted houses. Our members have planned a monster series of activities, so be ready to have a ghost of a good time! Events run from the 19th through 31st.
Halloween is just around the corner, and we have no doubt that our enterprising designers in There are busily creating new costumes for you to enjoy. That's why we've decided to up the ante and test their creativity. In anticipation of the upcoming Halloween event theme, we are bringing back the Designer Challenge!
Many of you are already hard at work designing new costumes or making updates to your previous creations. Now you can enter them in this fun new contest!
The winner of the Halloween Designer Challenge will receive a reimbursement of their submission costs for the winning outfit plus a prize of 30,000 Therebucks. Second place will win 20,000T over submission costs and third place will win 10,000T over submission costs.
It's easy to enter. Simply create and submit your Halloween items as you would normally, then send in a minimum of three screenshots of your outfit to ThereDesignContest@gmail.com. All entries must be received by Monday, October 12, 2009 at 6pm Pacific Time. A team of There.com staff will evaluate all the entries and pick the top six. The community will then vote and determine the final winners.
