The gold stars belong to our stellar team of volunteer welcomers, the Island Guides. Hopefully, the icons will assist new members in identifying sources of help and information. |

Not all Guides have opted-in to have a star by their names. Some just prefer to be identified by an Island Guide shirt, which can be changed when they wish to be in world for their own enjoyment.

Zona Island is currently the only spot where new members land in There, and that very quality has given it other characteristics as well. It is a stop on the BABS boat tours and a great place to meet and welcome new members. Perhaps because of these aspects, and because of the large number of new arrivals each day, Zona often shows up as the most populated spot in There.

I remember the first time I walked into our local community center when I was a kid. Everything was a big unknown, and my head was filled with a million questions. Who are these people? What can I do here? I see something interesting, will someone show me how to do that? Perhaps the biggest question of all was, "Do I fit in?"
